Plants for Members Sale Saturday, May 12

The Plants for Members (P4M) Plant Sale will be Saturday May 12 from 10:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. at Planeview Nursery in Portsmouth , RI.

 

The P4M program produces rooted cuttings raised from some of our chapter members' favorite plants.  Most of these plants are unavailable commercially, and can only be obtained through this chapter activity.  More than 200 varieties of choice Rhododendrons are available for purchase this year. Early access to these plants is one of the benefits of your membership to the ARS, Mass chapter.  

 

These plants are in 4 inch pots and are priced at $3 each on May 12. P4M cutting Donor & Volunteer requests are given first choice, after which the sale is open to all members. The public is welcome. This is a great opportunity to try several/many varieties definitely not available at Home Depot, at a price that can't be beat.  Plants not sold/distributed on May 12 will be brought to our Big May 20 Sale & Truss Show at Elm Bank in Wellesley.  They will be priced higher at this sale.

Attached is the list of plants available this year.  Note that some selections will have been sold out (to cutting donors and workers) before the sale to the general Chapter membership begins.
