Spring events at Botanical Gardens
Spring is in bloom at UNC Charlotte Botanical Gardens and a number of events are on the horizon:
• The University City Garden Club will meet 6:15-8:15 p.m. Tuesday in the McMillan Greenhouse, 9201 University City Blvd. Newcomers welcome.
• Meredith Hebden will demonstrate how to make a trellis from rhododendron branches at the Creating Trellises from Natural Wood Workshop, 9:30-11:30 a.m. Saturday. Registration required by Wednesday. Dress comfortably. Cost: $25, materials provided.
• The Piedmont Rhododendron Society will hold their monthly meeting at 2:30 p.m. March 30.
