For those of you who submitted Van Veen orders, the pickup time will be Saturday, April 20 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Note the end time is 1/2 hour earlier than posted in the Newsletter. The info at the bottom of your invoice is correct.
Location is the same as the past few years: Willard Hunnewell's barn in Wellesley, a short distance east of, and on the opposite side of the road as the Elm Bank entrance. A sandwich board with "Van Veen" will be placed at the Hunnewell's driveway. Please see the last Newsletter for detailed directions.
If you cannot pick up your order, please arrange for a friend to do so, or failing that, contact me in advance to make arrangements.
As always, we will have a number of extra plants for sale. You may stop by during the distribution period (11 AM to 1 PM) to browse/buy these plants whether or not you submitted an order.
To the volunteers: Thanks for volunteering once again! We will begin unpacking and sorting at 9:00 AM. Coffee will be provided. I suggest warm clothes and light gloves, as the barn will likely rather cool.
