Things Rhododendron in England

From the Telegraph UK

Rhododendron Ponticum may once have been a native to England.

"What's more, the idea that we have "native" plants is absurd. Is a native something that has been here since the last ice age? Or the last inter-glacial? Or the one before that? Looks like the dreaded Rhododendron ponticum might have been native once. Oops."
