The new site is designed to support browsing by all 4 major browsers IE 6+, Firefox 2+, Safari 3+, and Opera 9+.
In general at most the 2 latest versions of these browsers are tested when changes to the site are made.
For Firefox, Safari, and Opera the site is only supported for the latest versions of these browsers and no testing on older versions will be done after a newer version has been released for 3 months.
For IE, the site will be tested on the last 2 major versions of this browser. Currently the site works much better on IE 7 than IE 6 but is functional using IE 6. We highly recommend upgrading to IE 7 from IE 6.
Based on our testing the site works best on Safari 3 followed by IE 7, Opera 9, Firefox 2, and IE 6 in decreasing order.
Warning: In general IE is more likely to hang (fail to render a secondary server reference when using iframes) than the other three browsers. IE 6 hangs much more often than IE 7. In general, Firefox has the most negative issues rendering pages generated using XML/XSLT in support of our Gateway site. Firefox often does not provide a scroll bar but you can scroll the page using your mouse. Firefox often does not render the background image.
